Smoker Joker
The design presented above is from a previous assignment in which we had to design a no smoking sign. During class discussion the theme of 'smokers are jokers' was mentioned, and so the thought of using a joker card came to mind to convey the 'No Smoking' message. I replaced one of the 'Jokers' with 'Smoker' and placed a cigarette in the joker's hand to pass on the message that smoking is a joke.
St.Paul's Cathedral, London
The history of St.Paul's Cathedral is what makes it so interesting. It was built in 604 AD, starting as a church dedicated to the apostle Paul. Despite its strength, it was destroyed by fires in 962 and 1087, only to be rebuilt and be known as one of the largest cathedrals in London.

Along the Beach
Above is a photograph I took of Melbourne's Brighton Beach. Known for its colourful huts, its one tourist attraction that has people coming and going. I think this photograph is beautiful because of the variety of colours and also the presence of the people in the background. The photo was taken just before sunset which greatly helped with the lighting of the scene and enhanced the beautiful colours of the huts.
